ACS Market Roadmap
Depending on the situation, the Market Entry Road Map often addresses the following questions:
- What is the market opportunity in Asia for the client’s offering “as is”?
- What is the market opportunity if the client localizes/tailors product/services for Asia markets?
- Which markets in Asia should be the initial focus?
- Who are the economic buyers and how can we get to them?
- What price model and pricing will the market pay for our products / services?
- How many customers and what revenue can we expect in 6, 12 and 24 months?
- What will departments from head office have to do to support the initiative in Asia and can they do it on current budget?
- What links in the value chain should we provide ourselves, which should be outsourced, and which should be the responsibility of partner organizations?
- What sales resources will be necessary and how much will they cost?
- What technical resources will be necessary and how much will they cost?
- What competition exists and how can we differentiate ourselves?
- What should be our metrics for success and longer term objectives?
ACS doesn’t have the answers to any of those questions. We only know what questions should be asked and how to develop the answers. We determine the cost of developing the Road Map based on the contents requested by the client. Usually, the Road Map takes 6 – 12 weeks to complete and costs in the range of US$10,000 to US$15,000.
